Created in conjunction with the British Library and the Electronic Beowulf
Project; co-authored with Kathryn Powell and Deborah Coombs (Univ. of
Notre Dame). Designed and created a Hypercard-based Macintosh
environment that allowed instructors to easily incorporate digitized
images of medieval manuscripts into classroom instruction. Implemented
as a pilot project, some of the functionality of Scribe has now been incorporated into Kevin Kiernan’s Electronic Beowulf
CD-ROM (London and Ann Arbor: The British Library and the University of
Michigan Press, 1999). Funded in part by the Univ. of Notre Dame.
